At the end of the 17th century, a whole company of travelling comedians dies when their car tumbles down. They are buried, as dictated by the law of the time, outside the cemetery. This particular family is trapped in an undefined space-time; a place where they try to discover what it is that keeps them suspended in time, trying not to forget who they were, and reliving feelings and emotions from when they were alive, some of them already rusted by the curse of eternity.
With music composed for the occasion and texts by Lope or Calderón, among others, the work wants to underline the value of the collective and honour our theatrical ancestors, from the most famous writer to the humblest of the minstrels.
The show is a modern revision of classical texts, a fresh and original comedy with a staging that combines physical theatre, text and musical theatre.
