“Thyestes”is an immersive experience created by Grumelot from the Greek myth: part installation, part scenic piece, part electroacoustic concert. In collaboration with the composer José Pablo Polo, Grumelot offers the audience the chance of getting immerse in an horror tale that explores the processes of corruption of the soul and the government and observes the propagation of evil within a family marked by fatality.

In the underground passages of a Roman circus, in a baroque “corral de comedias” (Spanish comedy playhouse) or in the domes of an old barracks, the voice of a woman guides a small group of spectators through the darkness on a trip to the core of horror that allows the visitor to spy a private conversation in a car, to dance electronic music in the VIP booth of a nightclub, to get into a jacuzzi, or to witness a violent murder. The spaces intervened by fiction unfold in the presence of the spectator, who can freely explore them challenging the logic of classical theatrical narrative.
